I was sitting in my car today listening to Way FM and I heard them talking about World Vision. You can pick a child to sponsor in any country of your choice. It really touched my heart and I felt like it was something I needed to look into.

The kids…..are all so beautiful. I wish I could take every single one of them home with me.

I picked a little boy out. His name is Ibanathi. He’s eight years old and lives in South Africa.  I came across his photo and story and froze. It was like love at first sight. :] Hopefully one day, I will be able to meet him.

There’s just way too many children and families affected by AIDS, poverty and the like in need of help, and they never get it. I’m so thankful that there’s a way for people on the other side of the world to be able to get involved.

I know without a doubt that God wants me to go and help them. I just have to finish school, which seems like it’s taking forever and a day. =/

I feel like my heart is already in Africa, the rest of me is just stuck here.

God has a time and place for everything. Sometimes, I just wish the time was now.
